Fabric Upholstery Care
Fabrics are produced using a wide variety of fibers and constructions with different dyes, finishes and back coatings.
- Natural fibers, such as wool, silk, cotton, linen and rayon are highly absorbent. This absorbency makes them comfortable to sit on, and results in attractive colors and luxurious textures.
- Synthetic fibers, such as nylon, polyester, olefin and acrylic are very low in absorbency. This low absorbency may not always provide the widest variety of color and texture styles desired, but fabrics made of synthetic fibers clean more easily and dry quickly.
Most fabrics can be restored to a fresh, clean apperance using proper cleaning techniques.
Leather Furniture Care
It is important to identify the leather type of your furniture. There are three types:
- Protected – 80% of leather
- Aniline – 15% of leather
- NuBack – 5% of leather
Each type of leather has to be cleaned with different cleaning techniques.
You can be assured that the professionals at Pro-Care will take special care of all your leather and fabric upholstery through the cleaning process.
